Student Led Conference (SLC) slots for Responsibility

Dear parents,

Mentioned below are the timings for the Student Led  Conference on 19th April, 2017 i.e. Wednesday. For the parents who did not book, the slots are allotted on the basis of availability. Kindly go through your child’s Term-2 report which is shared with you.

Kindly be on time and adhere to the time slot allotted to you (30 minutes for 2 students)

Note: Carry the old ID card and bearer card of your child.

Language: As a culmination activity for the reader ‘Charlotte’s Web’, students answered few questions based on the six thinking hats.


Language: Students have to design the cover page and the back cover for the reader ‘Charlotte’s Web’.

ICT: Students have to practice typing from the links given below:

Math: Students appeared for the Summative Assessment.


ICT: 1). Students have to make a presentation on their experience of ‘Business Fair’ using ‘Google Slides’ and share it with their HRT.

There should be minimum 4 slides including the following:

  • A key learning from the business fair
  • Skills and subskills applied during the business fair (mention how and where you applied them)
  • Two things that you liked the most during the process of planning and conducting the business fair.
  • Two things that you could have done in a  better way.

2). Kindly fill the form given below  as it is a survey conducted by Grade 6 students for their Pyp exhibition on the topic- ‘Gaming as a leisure activity’

UOI: The students conducted the Business Fair, which was a great learning experience and a big hit! After the fair, they spent time counting the money earned. The money will be given to them on Monday . The students will first take back the invested amount and the remaining shall be divided equally amongst  their group members.


Math: A)Students have to solve the following in their Math notebook:

a) Aashka had 24 beads. 6 were yellow, 6 were orange, 5 were red, and 7 were purple. What fraction of her beads were red ?

b)Riansh collects sports cards. He has six baseball cards, three football cards, four hockey cards, and three basketball cards. What fraction of his sports cards are hockey cards? Make sure you reduce the fraction to its lowest terms.

c)A train arrives at the station with 150 passengers on board. 2/5 of the passengers get off the train in Bombay. How many passengers are still in the train ?

d) If Raj ate 5/12 of a pie and Rahul ate 2/5 of a pie, find out who ate more pie and by what fraction?

Math: Students appeared for the Summative Assessment on Fraction.


Language: Students have to write a narrative piece on the topic “A sad day of my life” by following the writing process (Prewriting, Drafting, Revisiting, Editing and Publishing) in their Language Writing notebook.
