Important note – Grade 6 Deliberate

Learners worked on completing their grade portfolio.

Learners discussed their feelings about moving to MYP, using the Thinking tool ‘Colour symbol image’.

They also had fun time in the splash pool.

For tomorrow:

As we approach towards the culmination of this year, we would like to end this journey with a Pot Luck Party. Students of Deliberate are requested to bring food (as per Friday food policy) for 25 people. They also need to bring disposable dishes, spoons and glasses.
For the portfolio, if the comment or piece is pending please make sure to complete it at home today so you just have to arrange the PYP portfolio tomorrow.

Homework for 10th April

Dear Students,
Make sure you complete all the following tasks by tomorrow:
  • Request for prints will be considered only till 10 am. Please keep all your requirements ready. If not ready by the given time, you will have to manage the prints on your own, with citation.
  • All the display pieces (the ones that need to go on the board) should be ready by 11 pm tomorrow.
  • The displays must include:

Big Idea, Lines of Inquiry, description of each line of inquiry, action element, primary research, secondary research, the overall conclusion as well as the bibliography.

  • The assessments will commence tomorrow for some groups, as discussed in class.  However, all groups need to be prepared with an oral presentation.  During your presentation, make sure you make connections with the Central Idea, the Big Idea as well as the process. Do not forget to include the LP, Attitude, and Skills.
  • It’s rightly said,” Good feedback is the key to improvement.” Once you are done with the above tasks, think of creative ways to take feedback from your audience.

See you all tomorrow…. 🙂
