You need to bring to old CD’s (1 or 2) and bottle caps (approx .2) for LEAP slot. You need not buy bottles for the caps, you can use the caps of the waste bottles as well. **Get this material tomorrow itself.**

UOI: Learners were made acquainted with inequalities in the world through a short hands-on engagement. They were given few ‘needs and wants’ in the group, out of which they had to choose ‘needs and wants’ as per the number they got. Reflection was taken with the questions: Number of needs/wants they got, which one did they choose? How did they choose? and was choosing the needs/wants was difficult? They derived that there is inequality in the world but there should be certain things always be available to every child. From the same list of needs and wants, they created a new list.

Language: Learners read the poem ‘Flint’ from the Empowering English. They comprehended the poem with teacher’s help and practised simile in the group.

**Gratitude:** Money and gifts can buy almost everything – except the love of kids like you. Your words were the perfect embellishment on my birthday, your wishes have just blown me away. No matter how hard I try on my own, I will never be able to replicate the warmth you have shown. My birthday lasted just for a day but the wishes you sent me are going to make me feel special for the rest of the year. Just like how food remains tasteless without salt, my birthday celebrations would have been incomplete without your wishes. Thanks for being the SALT in my life.
