Highlights of Cycle 13

Highlights of Cycle 13

5th October brought us to the end of yet another cycle. This cycle witnessed an amalgamation of enthusiasm and curiosity. Students were observed thinking and reflecting; inquiring and researching. Little explorers were in the making!!!

The Mathematical lens of the cycle focussed on exploring the world of integers, wherein the students learnt the concept of adding integers. Illustrations, number line, jodo blocks as well as rangometry were all tools that aided the understanding of the students.
The fun-filled Unit of Inquiry led the students to learn and explore the science behind the working of the world through various hands-on activities. The students recalled their knowledge of Potential and Kinetic Energy and went further towards exploring the various forces that they encounter in their day-to-day existence. Normal Force, Applied Force, Gravitational Force, Frictional Force and Air resistance were a few forces explored by the students. A Tug of war to understand the balance and unbalanced forces added joy to their learning.
Creativity was in the air and the students left no stones unturned in transforming the blah to brilliant. Six traits of writing along with the writing process topped up with the understanding of the various emotions, mood, and diction, added the cherry on the cake. Learners explored the ocean of vocabulary, adding it to their Language kitty.
In anticipation of the festive mood and the Diwali break, we are looking forward to yet another cycle full of learning and exploration.
