Dear Students & Parents,

Please note that the Summative Assessment (Presentations) will start from 01st October 2018 and will be completed by 08th October 2018. Presentation sequence will be intimated by your respective IH Teacher.

Instructions for the task has been given in Class and the same has been uploaded on Central Presentation also.

Students will be allotted 2-3 slots in Class also for the preparation/resolving doubts (if any).

Students who remain absent on the day allotted, their SA will not be rescheduled.

Dear Students and Parents,

Please note that students are given a sheet to interview  their parents regarding the Economic Activities parents are engaged in. This Activity is related to our upcoming Unit: Engines of Economy, wherein students will learn about how the Economy of a Country is run.
Parents are requested to guide the students and explain them about their business/professional activities and answer the questions on the questionnaire sheet. Below is the link of the same.

G9_ Enigma_ Integrated Humanities_ FS Trip on 23rd July.

Dear Students and Parents,

Please note that on 23rd July 2018 (Day-5), G9 Enigma is going to have a short field trip on FS Ground at multiple Venue  to understand the Unit 1 related Activities in Integrated Humanities pertaining to water harvesting and working of solar panels.
Looking to rainy season, students are requested to bring one extra pair of clothing (School uniform/house T shirts) and/or a raincoat or an umbrella since the activities are on Ground.
Slot 6 & 7  will be utilized for the same.
The exchanged slot will take place on 24th July, Day-6, Slot-6.
The ones who do not bring extra pair of clothing/or raincoat/umbrella will not be allowed to go for the outdoor activities and will do self study near PO’s Desk.
Students are already briefed for the same.
In case of any concerns, please get back to me through mail or Daily Diary.

G9_ Serendipity and Epiphany for Integrated Humanities.

Dear Students and Parents,

Please note that on 16th July 2018 (Day-6), G9 , two Sections are going to have a short field trip to KG Farm and other open to air Venues at FS,  to understand the Unit 1 related Activities in Integrated Humanities pertaining to compost machine, water harvesting and working of solar panels.
Looking to rainy season, students are requested to bring one extra pair of clothing and a raincoat or an umbrella since the activities are on Ground.
Slot 3 and 4 will be utilized for the same and after coming back ,students will change the clothes, will take the lunch and regular classes will resume from 5th slot onwards.
The exchanged slots will be compensated and intimation for the same will be given.
The ones who do not bring extra pair of clothing/or raincoat/umbrella will not be allowed to go for the outdoor activities and will do self study near PO’s Desk.
Students are already briefed for the same.

Dear Parents and Students,

Please note that for ongoing Unit of Cold War in Integrated Humanities, it is highly essential that students do their homework thoroughly to have better understanding of the Events of the Cold War.

Teachers for their respective section will be/are posting regarding the Event to be covered in the next slot along with some resources and few guiding questions. Discussion and Debate shall take  in the next day, so in order to participate actively in Class and to have good understanding, it is imperative for students to do the HW on regular basis.

For any further clarity, you are requested to mail to the respective IH teacher of the Section.

Looking forward to making this Unit more fruitful and have discussion/debate with complete involvement to understand multiple perspectives.

From 12 March till next 4 days, Discussion on Afghanistan’s Invasion and other Events till Disintegration of USSR will take place.

Students are requested to come prepared with the same, resources are shared on Curricle.

Paper 1: On screen assessment with  combination of Criteria B & C- 90 Minutes.

Paper 2: Pen and Paper assessment with combination of Criteria A & D- 60 Minutes.

Other Details:

  • Fully charged Chromebook will be required along with personal stationery and earphones. In case, Chromebook is given for repair, please bring the receipt of the same.
  • All the resources shared on Curricle (subject resource sheet and Central Presentation), Google Classroom as well as the worksheets provided(online or in hard copy) and Class discussion will be considered as a part of the syllabus and will be sufficient to prepare for the examination.
  • Questions will be asked based on the Criteria of individual Unit. Eg: If a Unit-X has catered to learning objective A- strand (i), (ii), (iii)  and objective B-strand (i)and (ii) only, then the questions from this unit will only be based on Objective A and B.

You need to complete at least 4 Task in the Process Journal and submit the same latest by 08 January to your respective IH & Language Teachers.
