**UOI:** Summative assessment was conducted.

**Language:** The Poem ‘My Cousin Fred’ was read aloud and the answers to the questions were discussed orally.

**Homework:**

**Language: **Read the poem ‘My Cousin Fred’ and write answers of question no. 2 , 3 , 5 and 6 in the notebook.

Complete the worksheets given( language and math).

**Day 1 Thursday**

**Math: **Solve the following word problems in your notebook:

1) Mrs. Khanna kept a cake in the oven at quarter to three. She set the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes to bake the cake. At what time was the cake ready?

2) A tailor takes 1 hour 04 minutes to stitch a dress and 3 hours 27 minutes to embroider it. How much time does he take to complete one dress?

3) A ruler is 30 cm long. What is the length of 5 rulers?

4) Meera had to visit her friend who lives 134 km from her house. She traveled 82 km by bus and the rest in a rickshaw. Find the distance she traveled by rickshaw.

Day 5 Tuesday

** UOI: **Students reflected their understanding of the body systems by making connections with other systems.

**Math: **Learners solved word problems.

**Math: **Solve the worksheet given.

**UOI: **Watch the videos related to different systems( that were posted in the previous blogs) and revise all the systems.

**Day 4 Friday**

**Math: **Students solved a worksheet related to time to enhance their understanding**.**

**Language: **The book ‘Elephants Never Forget’ by Anushka Ravishankar was read aloud to introduce students to the new literary device – Onomatopoeia. Later, the poem ‘Conversation’ given in the Empowering English Book (Chapter 6) was read aloud followed by a discussion on which animal makes what sound and also if the sound is the same as the word.

**Homework:**

**Language: **Solve the given worksheet.

Write answer to question no. 3 (page no. 20) in the language notebook.

**Math: **Solve the given worksheet.

**UOI: **Revise all the systems.

Day 3 Thursday

UOI: Learners watched videos to revise the Skeletal and Muscular System and then reflected by solving worksheets.

Routines and Procedures were revised again.

Homework:

**Language: **Write your own verb poem on ‘Monster Fight’. (Use the verb list that is stuck on the last page of your notebook)

**LD: **Complete week 3 home weekend task and Week 4 day 1.

Day 2 Wednesday

**Language: **The poem ‘Dinosaur Dinner’ was read and discussed in the class. Students along with the teacher’s support created a poem on ‘Tiger Chase’.

**Math: **Students were given a hands on experience to plot/model the time using a wooden clock.

**Homework:**

Refer the common blog for Gujarati and Hindi homework.

Day 1 Tuesday

**UOI :**

Students have been tuned into another body system (Muscular System) through a PE activity. Learners further understood its detail through a video and class discussion. Later they reflected their understanding in their UOI notebooks.

**Language :**

The poem ‘The Blind Men and The Elephant’ from Empowering English was read. The answers to the questions given at the end of the poem were also discussed.

**Math: **Learners discussed about the different formats of writing time (12 hour and 24 hour format).

Write the answer to questions 1 to 5 of the poem ‘The Blind Men and The Elephant’ page no: 91 as discussed in class.

*LD: *

Complete writing Week 3 day 5.

**UOI:**

Watch the video and revise your concepts.

**Math:** Learners practiced word problems.

**UOI:** Learners revised the Circulatory System, the Respiratory System and the Skeletal system and reflected their understanding by solving worksheets.

Solve the worksheets(Language and Math) given to you.

**UOI**: Learners revised the Digestive System and the Skeletal System and solved a worksheet.

**Math:** Learners revised the units of measuring capacity and solved a worksheet related to the same.
