  • Central Idea: We find different materials in the surrounding and they behave differently.
  • Introduction of the concept float and sink.
  • Introduction of Pre-math concepts was done with real life connections

 

  • Language:
  • Revision of previous sounds ‘s’ ‘a’, ‘t’ ‘i’ and ‘p’
  • Blending.

Math:

  • Revision of all the mathematical concepts done till date.

 

Language:

  • Revision of ‘qu, ch, sh, oi, ue’ digraphs was done.

 

UOI:  

  • TDT- Sharing the Planet.
  • Central Idea- Animals adapt to survive in their natural habitat.

         Introduction of grassland animals was done.

         Field Trip to Zoo

              Homework:

  • Language: Write the following ‘er’ words (2 times) in the notebook:

summer, dinner, ladder, sister, stronger, blender, litter, printer, winter, letter, duster, herb, helicopter

Important points :

  • Please note that the library books will be issued on Monday and ensure that you return the books on time.
  • Every Wednesday is a fruit day.
  • Kindly ensure revision of taught concepts in Math.
  • Kindly ensure daily revision of tricky words (reading and writing).
  • Kindly conduct at least one read aloud everyday.
  • Give writing practice for the taught number names (One to Ninety nine only).

Important Note

Dear Parents,

As a part of our ongoing unit we have planned a field trip to a zoo on Wednesday, 7th March  2018. The students have to reach Vanita Vishram ground (Opp. Mahavir Cardiac Hospital) by 9:15 am. Parents are requested to hand over the child to the HRT and leave immediately.

Also make a note, parents have to pick up their child from Vanita Vishram ground (Opp. Mahavir Cardiac Hospital) at 1:15 pm sharp. Request you to be on time.

Important points:

  1. Students have to come in full uniform along with their I-cards. They can bring a sun cap.
  2. Kindly send a heavy meal and water bottle.(Friday food policy will be followed).
  3. Send one extra pair of clothes.
  4. Kindly bring the bearer card when you come to pick up your child.
