Students were taken to a mountain summit. They were asked to climb to the peak of a mountain in triangle shape wherein they constructed the meaning of perpendicular, height, base, and area of a triangle. They were shown a video on same.(Area video)
Students practiced word problems on area and perimeter. They applied their understanding and confidently solved these sums.

UOI FA was conducted.Students moved a step closer to natural resources.Young brains were at work, thinking, analyzing, and concluding.
Students presented their hard worked practice piece of IDIOMS in front of their peers.They worked on their presentation, listening and speaking skills with same. Appreciating vocabulary and confidence was demonstrated by young leaders. They are enthusiastic about their literary event and have started working for the same with a sense of commitment and thinkers in them.
Junior storytellers are working on their little, but powerful brains to come up with different parts of given story clues. They are demonstrating the attitude appreciation and are being open-minded for same. Creativity in these communicators is evident.

1) A gardener digs a flower bed that is 8 meters long and a meter wide. What is the area of the flower bed?
2) Anand built a backyard pen for his new puppy. The length of the pen was 6 meters and the width was 4 meters. What is the area of the pen?
3) Draw 3 different rectangles with an area of 12 square cm. Calculate the perimeter of each.

Students wore the architect’s hat and learned and explored the AREA of polygons.They demonstrated the LP attributes of being knowledgeable as they connected to it very easily and had a good prior knowledge of same.The journey from constructing the meaning to transferring it was a smooth and short one.
A doubt clearing slot was given to students as a revision for parts they were confused at.

Young leaders brainstormed and made a central idea of their own for the ongoing unit.Later the C.I was unpacked and students were glad to see that they were on the same path ahead or behind.
A leisure time was given to students to read books on materials with their peers as a focus on communication skills; reading, speaking and listening.They gained a handful information from these masterpieces.
Students are all working hard for the upcoming literary event.They composed their own practice piece by focusing on the writing process. They are working hard towards the same and are demonstrating the attitude of being creative and independent.
