Glimpses of music class

Students  practiced the river song “Ganga, Yamuna Krishna”. They also learned patterns “ Alankaar “ in music. Alankaar is made from patterns of the seven notes of Indian classical music SA, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni. Students are learning song “ Sa sing the sunflower”  They are also learning rhythmic patterns with body percussion. Sharing some glimpses of music class and lyrics of songs learned in last few months.

Note – Kindly go through the blog post regularly and encourage your child to practice the songs.

Central Idea : The Earth’s natural cycles influence the activity of living things.

  • Read aloud of books(The weather today and dressing for the weather)
  • Revision of hibernation and migration.
  • VA activity on the Impact of revolution on animals.
  • Revision of the following vocabulary: hibernation, migration, revolution, orbit,  axis, Northern hemisphere, Southern hemisphere, poles, rotation.

 

Homework:

  • Language: Write the following ‘qu’ words (2 times) in the notebook:

(quit, quiz, quick, quilt,quilling, queen, quack, quest, quench, quail, liquid, squid)

  • Math: Write forward and backward numbers 51-99 once in the notebook. (Follow the CW format)

 

Important points :

  • Please note that the library books will be issued on Monday, kindly ensure that you return the books on time.
  • Kindly ensure revision of taught concepts in Math.
  • Kindly ensure daily revision of tricky words (reading and writing).
