निम्नलिखित कहानी को पढ़कर पूछे गए प्रश्नो के उत्तर हिंदी उत्तर पुस्तिका में लिखिए –

गणेश जी की कहानी

यह  कथा शिवपुराण से है। इसके मुताबिक देवी पार्वती ने अपने उबटन से एक पुतला बनाया और उसमें प्राण डाल दिए। उन्होंने इस प्राणी को द्वारपाल बना कर बैठा दिया और किसी को भी अंदर न आने देने का आदेश देते हुए स्नान करने चली गईं। संयोग से इसी दौरान भगवान शिव वहां आए। उन्होंने अंदर जाना चाहा, लेकिन बालक गणेश ने रोक दिया। नाराज शिवजी ने बालक गणेश को समझाया, लेकिन उन्होंने एक न सुनी।  

क्रोधित शिवजी ने त्रिशूल से गणेश का सिर काट दिया। पार्वती को जब पता चला कि शिव ने गणेश का सिर काट दिया है, तो वे कुपित हुईं। पार्वती की नाराजगी दूर करने के लिए शिवजी ने गणेश के धड़ पर हाथी का मस्तक लगा कर जीवनदान दे दिया। तभी से शिवजी ने उन्हें तमाम सामर्थ्य और शक्तियां प्रदान करते हुए प्रथम पूज्य और गणों का देव बनाया।  

गणेश के पास हाथी का सिर, मोटा पेट और चूहा जैसा छोटा वाहन है, लेकिन इन समस्याओं के बाद भी वे विघ्नविनाशक, संकटमोचक की उपाधियों से नवाजे गए हैं। कारण यह है कि उन्होंने अपनी कमियों को कभी अपना नकारात्मक…पक्ष नहीं बनने दिया, बल्कि अपनी ताकत बनाया। उनकी टेढ़ी-मेढ़ी सूंड बताती है कि सफलता का पथ सीधा नहीं है।

यहां दाएं-बाएं खोज करने पर ही सफलता और सच प्राप्त होगा। हाथी की भांति चाल भले ही धीमी हो, लेकिन अपना पथ अपना लक्ष्य न भूलें। उनकी आंखें छोटी लेकिन पैनी है, यानी चीजों का सूक्ष्मता से विश्लेषण करना चाहिए। कान बड़े है यानी एक अच्छे श्रोता का गुण हम सबमें हमेशा होना चाहिए।

Please take note that tomorrow (16 August) , we have House wise Collage Competition for Grade 7.

Students are requested to bring few newspapers and magazines (Non Bollywood/ Films) from their end and some shall be provided from School.

Chart Papers, scissors and glue stick will be provided to each Group.

The Theme for the Competition is: Independence, Patriotism, Freedom.

It will be held in the Assembly slot: 2.15-2.50 PM.

Required materials need to be cut and pasted in Class.

Kindly complete the following tasks:

1. Complete Diagonal and Quadrilateral worksheet (hard copy given in class) in worksheet itself.

2. Use a program that shows how diagonals are related to their quadrilaterals. (link posted in Grade 7 – Acumen Google classroom named Diagonals to Quadrilaterals)

Click on “Perpendicular Diagonals” box and practice dragging the points on the diagonals to change the shape of the quadrilaterals

Question: What types of quadrilaterals are possible? Explore.

3. Complete the following in your math notebook using ruler and pencil:

a) Draw at least two quadrilaterals with a perimeter of 24 cm where the diagonals bisect each other and are equal in length.

b) Draw at least one quadrilateral that has one set of parallel lines and the diagonals do not bisect each other perpendicularly.

c) Draw a quadrilateral that has only one diagonal that is a perpendicular bisector.

One Day At School (ODAS) – 2017-18

One Day At School (ODAS) – 2017-18

Dear Parent,

We would like to invite you to spend One Day At School (ODAS). The ODAS program at Fountainhead, gives parents a first hand experience of their child’s learning at school. The ODAS program will start from 1st September, 2017 and continue till 31st March 2018. On any particular day, a maximum of 4 parents (different grades) will be allowed for ODAS. Please note that only one parent i.e. either the father or mother is allowed for the visit. Timings for ODAS are 10:15 am – 1:30 pm.

Please call Ms. Richa Panchal at the front desk or mail us at surat@fountainheadschools.org to register for ODAS slot. Registration will be confirmed as per availability of slots. Please do not email HRTs, write on Nucleus or on blog to register.

Points to be kept in mind during the ODAS visit:

  • A schedule will be provided at the front desk regarding allotment of classes and respective timings.
  • Kindly submit your mobiles at the front desk before commencing the visit.
  • Parents are requested to quietly observe the class, without any discussion with the teacher.
  • No personal discussion about the child will be entertained.
  • Parents are requested to fill a feedback form (available at the front desk) at the end of their visit. Any relevant comments must be entered in the feedback form rather than discussing with the teacher.

Invitation to conduct an activity at “Creative Mela 2017-18” on 29 September, 2017

Dear Parents,

Creative Mela is an event, which provides students with a platform to explore different art forms either hands on or by exploration. Our aim is  to unfold the mindsets of students towards various  art forms. Hence  our attempt is to give them an opportunity to come across versatile artforms containing visual as well as performing arts.

Here we are, all charged up and ready for new ideas & fun with lots of learning.

We would like to invite parents to conduct an Art workshop during “CREATIVE MELA 2017-18”.

The event will take place in school premises on Friday, 29th September 2017.

 

Students are divided into three age groups.

Group A- Grade 3 and 4

Group B- Grade 5 and 6

Group C- Grade 7 to 10

 

During Creative Mela, students will get to experience activities such as:
