Considering the increasing access to social media and internet in the current times, we are rolling out the Cyber Policy for our students with a view to educate them, make them aware of the threats online, and have a response system within the school to deal with such issues effectively.
We expect parents to support us in this initiative to make our students responsible digital citizens.
The policy has been discussed in detail with the students today.
We are sending out
1. Cyber Policy Document
2. Cyber Policy Legal Toolkit (for reference)
(Both these documents are spiral bound together)
3. Cyber Policy undertaking.
Parents are requested to go through all the above documents and discuss the same with their ward. The undertaking has to be signed by the parents and students and sent it to school latest by 15th October. The students who fail to submit the signed undertaking to school by the given date shall not be allowed to attend classes.
Please watch this video to understand the policy in detail.
This post is a reiteration of the importance of RFID card.
Kindly be informed that it is mandatory to show the RFID Parent Pass at the time of pick up from the bus stop. The bus conductor will be using RFID card reader in the bus which will be used to check the card, at random, when a parent/guardian/attendant receives the child at the bus stop. Kindly flash the card as indicated in the attached image.
If the card is found to be duplicate a fine of Rs. 500/- will be deducted from the student imprest deposit.
Note that, 15th October onwards, parents without RFID card will not be handed over the student, and the student will be brought back to school. Parents will have to collect their child from the school, in such a case.
Having a duplicate RFID card will also be considered as not having a card and the procedure as mentioned above will apply.
Please send your RFID card to school if registration is pending as yet, ignore if already done.

A gentle reminder for the SS PTC which is scheduled tomorrow (6th October 2018). Parents who have received telephonic call and mail from school to meet subject teachers are requested to come with the students at the given time. Those who haven’t received an invite can take a prior appointment with the respective teacher and come for the meeting if they wish to. For venue details, refer to the following sheet:
We are committed to our students’ learning and to buttress the same, we are rolling out Student support classes after school for Math & Physics. We have asked students to discontinue tuitions with former FS teachers, and some parents have requested the school to give alternative solutions. So, we have initiated these support classes as a pilot beginning from term 2 in this academic year.
The main purpose of these support classes is to give the additional practice of the concepts taught in the class. In addition, this will give an opportunity to the students to clarify their doubts as needed. These are support classes and should not be looked as a substitute for teaching in the class. The teaching methodology and pattern will complement the method that is being taught in the class.
We intend to accommodate 10-12 students in one batch with a teacher.
For the pilot, we will start with 3 sessions per week (Mon-Wed-Fri generally, a schedule will be shared at the start of the pilot program).
The cost will be Rs. 120 / session for the pilot program. To start off with, students will be expected to attend at least 6 sessions. If they choose to continue after that then the minimum commitment will be for 2 months. The deduction will be made from the imprest deposit based on the number of sessions where there’s sufficient balance (if not, then a separate payment will be asked for).
Timings for the support classes will be 03:25 pm to 04:30 pm.
The students will get a break from 03:10 to 03:20, wherein they can get extra tiffin from home or purchase snacks from the school pantry.
The buses will leave by 04:30 pm. The bus route details will be shared with the parents later.
Points to note:
The same teacher who teaches in the class may not be available. The school will ensure that the assigned teacher is trained and capable of solving doubts for that subject and grade.
The planning and quality of support in the classroom will be checked and monitored by the school.
Teachers who opt for this program will be paid by the school based on the no. of sessions that they take rather than the number of students. This will remove any incentive for them to promote these support classes, especially by not teaching well in the class.
Students can take additional support outside the school with prior permission. Please refer to the updated tuition policy here.
We are starting these classes for Math and Physics for this academic year. If we see that this initiative works well in the interest of the students and there are no glaring concerns, then we will consider starting support classes for other subjects as well. If there isn’t much response, we may discontinue the same.
The last date to fill the form is 15th October 2018. The form will be taken into consideration only if it is filled using school parent id.
