Playful Learning While Celebrating Diwali!

Playful Learning While Celebrating Diwali!

Celebration of festivals is a significant part of kindergarten programme, thus,  these little tots enjoyed various activities on the occasion of Diwali through different engagements in their classroom like: cleaning the classroom, rangoli making, toran decoration, cooking, card making and potluck. The learners were exhilarated and thoroughly enjoyed the engagements. Below are few glimpses of the celebration.

Light my diya Light my diya

Diwali is here.

Cheer my heart, sparkle bright
On this festival of light.
Light my diya Light my diya
Burn bright my light,
On this festival of light.

Raconteur- Heads Up!

Raconteur- Heads Up!

Dear Raconteurs,

By tomorrow most of you will have received your copy of the school magazine- Raconteur. Happily! Anxiously! Excitedly, we present to you the first edition and hope you will love it too!

Expressing gratitude from the bottom of our hearts we genuinely applaud and appreciate all the effort put in by you for making Raconteur beautiful!

For this issue of Raconteur we received a record number of entries and our joys knew no bounds, but here comes the glitch…. The number of pages in the magazine are limited and we couldn’t fit all the articles at once but at the same time we didn’t want to let your diligence go in vain. So… We decided that we will use remaining articles in the next edition of Raconteur i.e. the April issue of the magazine.

In case you do not find your contribution in this issue you might have to wait a little longer! Thank you for your love, patience and support!

Do keep writing!

Regards,

Raconteur Team

Glimpses of cooking fiesta!

Glimpses of cooking fiesta!

Dear Parents,

Blending humanity’s oldest means of socialization—cooking and eating together, we invited parents of Jr KG to prepare few delicacies with our little chefs. They all savoured khakhra pizzas, shahi tukda, bread butter and lemonade. The parents rejoiced the time spent and shared a good bond with the students throughout the activity. This initiative of gathering parents, students and teachers to culminate cooking activity was highly appreciated by everyone. It was a pleasure to see one of the father parent who set a wonderful example for others to get involved with their child in any school engagement. It gives immense sense of fulfillment to watch parents actively participating with the kids & thereby we look for more of such parental involvement.

With regards,

Jr KG Team.
