१) हिंदी की दुनिया अभ्यास पुस्तक में से पेज नं 8 और  9 से वार्तालाप करवाया गया |

२)  सर्वनाम का संवाद में कैसे प्रयोग किया जाता है इसके बारे में चर्चा की गई |

३) वाचन पुस्तिका में दिए गए ‘आ’, ‘इ’ और ‘ई’ मात्राओं के वाक्यों का श्रुतलेखन नोटबुक में लिया गया |

4) रंग बिरंगी कहानियाँ पुस्तक  से ‘सच्चा मित्र’ कहानी में आए हुए सर्वनाम को रेखांकित किया गया |

कहानी से रचनात्मक कार्य (Creative task) : ‘कागज़ का जादू’ कहानी पढ़कर कागज़ से कोई भी कलाकृति (Craft) बनाकर कक्षा में भेज दे | (जैसे इस कहानी में सूरज,लॉलीपॉप, घर बनाया है ऐसे ही आप बनाकर कक्षा में लेकर आओ )

પતંગિયા પાઠ્યપુસ્તકમાંથી પેજ નંબર – ૨૧ (21) પર જે આકારમાં મૂળાક્ષરો છે તેવા જ આકારમાં અને રંગથી મૂળાક્ષરો લખો. પેજ નંબર – ૨૨(22) પર આપેલા “જ” મૂળાક્ષરને લખો અને “જ” મૂળાક્ષર શોધી તેની ફરતે ગોળ કરો.

The first round of literary event went amazingly well. The students were well prepared with their poems. Their enthusiasm and dedication were at its peak.
We would like to thank all the parents for their involvement and support. Without your cooperation, it would not have been possible.
The results of the first round of poetry are mentioned below.

The Final round will be held on 17th August. The finalists have to prepare another poem for the second round. Make sure that they mention the introduction and acknowledgment.

Day 6

Language:

  • Dictation was conducted.
  • The 2nd chapter – Off to the Enchanted Wood from the Reader ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ was read to the students followed by students reading it using Popcorn strategy.
  • Language Development Assessment was conducted.

Math:

Students solved subtraction sums with 5-digits.

Homework:

Solve the following sums

A. Find the difference:

1) 55,021 – 27,484 2) 80,013 – 14,199

B. Subtract:

1) 40,516 from 92,690 2) 6,247 from 66,807

C. In a box there are two magical numbers: 75,604 and 57,295. 
Write which magical number is bigger and by how much.

D. My target for the month of August is to collect 14,902 marbles. So far I have collected
9,327 marbles. How many more marbles do I need to collect to achieve my target.

E. Tina and Sumit decided to keep a track of number of steps they walk in a week. After
one week they found that Tina had walked 15,341 steps and Sumit had walked 20,020
steps. How many less steps did Tina walk than Sumit.

Dear Parents,

Safety and well being of students is of utmost importance to us at Fountainhead. To this end, we had undertaken a safety project last year to improve safety and well being measures at school.

The next step that we have in line is to to invite parent volunteers for an audit of safety practices at school.

What is a safety audit?

A safety audit is to monitor and analyze an institution’s operations in order to determine how well it conforms to a set of specific criteria.

In this case, the parent volunteers of the safety audit team will assess the school’s safety measures based on Aarambh India’s checklist

Categories/Departments for audit:

  • Physical Safety
  • Emotional Safety
  • Cyber Safety
  • Social Safety
  • Emergency Measures

How will the process work?

Once we receive responses from the parents, a short meeting will be arranged to discuss the details. The Safety Audit committee members, i.e. parents will be divided into groups as per the preferences chosen by them. Each group will be conducting the audit for a specific department, will be completing the audit and bringing it to conclusion by writing comments for the chosen department.

Interested parents need to click on the following link and fill the form latest by 16th August, 2018.

Safety Audit @ Fountainhead

The audit along with the parent orientation will be done in the first week of September. (Date will be informed to you later). The parents might choose to do the audit on the same day or some other day in the same week. Important point to note is that parents should be willing to spend a day in school for the audit.
