कक्षा कार्य
१. अभ्यास पुस्तक के पेज नं ७ से  छात्रों ने “ल ,ला और ली ” का लेखन कार्य किया और चित्र बनाएँ |
२. “पहलवानजी ” कहानी का वाचन किया गया | कहानी वाचन के बाद कहानी के पात्र , समस्या आदि की चर्चा की गई |
३.समूह कार्य – छात्रों ने समूह में सीखे हुए वर्णों और मात्राओं से शब्द बनाए|

ल ,ला ,ली – हिंदी की नोटबुक में एक-एक लाइन छोड़कर लिखें | ( एक लाइन में ३ वर्ण ऐसे 6 लाइन लिखें )

नोट :
1. सभी अभिभावकों से अनुरोध है कि बच्चों के साथ कोई भी एक हिंदी की कहानी जरूर पढ़े |
2. बच्चों को नोटबुक में HW, Date और छोटे अक्षरों में लिखने के लिए प्रेरित करें |
3. गुरुवार को सभी किताबें कक्षा में भेज दें |

[Circle Time]

Structured drill (discussion and phonics) was conducted.

Recitation of poetry was done.  


Introduction of soft ‘c’ sound and sentence elaboration was done.


Introduction of predecessor, successor and between numbers, skip counting by numbers 3, 5 and 7 was done using manipulative.      

Formative assessment was conducted.

Unit Of Inquiry:    

Read aloud of various books was done to get more understanding about the role of an author and illustrator.




Complete the following tasks in your Empowering English book:

  • Choose and write (page no. 2)
  • Look, say and write (Look at the grid and make words) (page no. 3)
  • Writing – My Pet Cat (page no. 5)

Safety Audit @Fountainhead

Safety Audit @Fountainhead

Dear Parents,

Safety and well being of students is of utmost importance to us at Fountainhead. To this end, we had undertaken a safety project last year to improve safety and well being measures at school.

The next step that we have in line is to to invite parent volunteers for an audit of safety practices at school.

What is a safety audit?

A safety audit is to monitor and analyze an institution’s operations in order to determine how well it conforms to a set of specific criteria.

In this case, the parent volunteers of the safety audit team will assess the school’s safety measures based on Aarambh India’s checklist

Categories/Departments for audit:

  • Physical Safety
  • Emotional Safety
  • Cyber Safety
  • Social Safety
  • Emergency Measures

How will the process work?

Once we receive responses from the parents, a short meeting will be arranged to discuss the details. The Safety Audit committee members, i.e. parents will be divided into groups as per the preferences chosen by them. Each group will be conducting the audit for a specific department, will be completing the audit and bringing it to conclusion by writing comments for the chosen department.

Safety Audit @ Fountainhead

The audit along with the parent orientation will be done in the first week of September. (Date will be informed to you later). The parents might choose to do the audit on the same day or some other day in the same week. Important point to note is that parents should be willing to spend a day in school for the audit.

Dear all,
Drop off old shoes and slippers so that someone in need can get new ones.
All footwear that is dropped off will be sent to Greensole (, an organization that will then recycle these shoes to convert them into brand new footwear for underprivileged kids. The newer, recycled shoes will then be given out in Surat itself with the help and money of ONGC. Dropping off used footwear will not only benefit the environment but also children in need in our very own city.
The footwear can be dropped off in your bus with the conductor or in the Drop Boxes one of the following places:
1. Outside Library
2. Outside Atrium
3. Next to Lost and Found
4. Bon Appetit
5. Outside DP wing
6. Outside Sports/Arts Staff Lounge
The Drop Boxes look something like this: 
You can drop off the shoes from 5th August to 10th August. Feel free to drop as many as you can.
Please tie up your shoes or slippers together before dropping them off. You may drop off any shoes but NO studs or heels

  • Learners were tuned into the unit  How we express ourselves. They explored various books through book buffet engagement.
