UOI– Students watched a ppt and understood the concept of how the solar panel works. They came up with the advantages and disadvantages of the uses of solar panel. Going further, we introduced the Renewable and Non-renewable sources of energy (DefinitionsÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â & examples). They watched ppts on variousÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â Renewable and Non-renewable sources of energy as how they are created and depleted (Non-renewable sources of energy).
Math– Tuning in activity of area where students were given the graph paper cut outs of 1 cm each and were asked to make a perimeter of the given length & breath. Then they were asked to fill in the inside part of the perimeter usingÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â the graph paper cut outs of 1 cm. They calculated all the squares and hence derived the formula of Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â “AREA”.
Language-Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â PracticedÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â Procedural writing where students were given the Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â graphicÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â organizerÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â of procedural writing and they had to write it in detail mentioning Title, Goal, Materials used, Method and Conclusions. Students made Acrostic Poem on “CARING”.
