Highlights:-

Math:- Students practiced sums on area and perimeter.

Language:- A read aloud on chapter no 2 of Matilda/George’s Marvelous medicine was done. Movie clips of chapter no 2 of Matilda (only for students who is doing the reader Matilda) was shown for better understanding.

UOI:- Students watched a video on the Geo-thermal energy. Through this a discussion on the working of Geo-thermal stations as well as how it helps in generating electricity was taken ahead. A procedural writing of the working of the same was discussed in the class

Homework:-

1. Draw, label and write a procedure writing (title, goal, materials, method and conclusion) on Geo-thermal energy.
2. 2 worksheets on math.

An introduction to Geothermal energy was given where students came to know that the heat present deep inside the earth can be used to generate electricity. The same was explained using illustrations.

Videos related to different habitat was shown to generate curiosity. Learners were provoked to think about the reasons that lead an animal to survive in their natural habitat. From the grassland/Forest habitat these animals were discussed: Lion, Bear, Giraffe, Rhino & Deer.

From the Snow habitat :Penguin, Polar bear & other animals were discussed using toys animals.
