UOI -: Students are preparing for their exhibition which is the culminating event for this unit. In their groups, they have researched on their given topic on Greek Civilization. They also decided on their display work and model making. We also saw a documentary based on Greek civilization today.

Language -: We did an activity to describe a favorite character based on any story or a movie you like the most. Its overwhelming to see them use the new descriptive words learnt in their descriptive writing. 

Math -: Today we learnt few new concepts on decimals -: Equivalent Decimals, Like and Unlike decimals. We did an activity to clear the doubts on writing the given decimal number in an expanded notation

  • Two conferences will be held at the same time in the class in two corners. You will notice that in the schedule as well.
  • First 30 mins your child will share with you his/her own learning and progress.
  • After your child has finished with the conference, you will be able to the homeroom teacher for not more than 10-12 minutes.
  • The assessment report will only be given to you at the time of SLC.

The learners appeared for UOI Summative Assessment task. Discussion on various, forms of energy/sources of electricity  was done.Some videos/PPT’s were shown again to build on their understanding.
Math homework was discussed and the learners clarified their doubts.

Lang- The poem ‘Bed head’ was recited and explained. How to write an acrostic poem eas revised.


Complete the poem ‘Bed head’ and write the acrostic poem on Sunflower and your name in the poem book. Learn any poem poems from your poem book.
