Grade 5 Symbiosis- Highlights & homework (18/01/13)

Unit of inquiry-To move further in ‘Where we are in place and time’ unit, students researched on Egypt civilization. During library period they used National Geographic Magazines published between the years (1998- 2012) to find information about Egypt civilization. Expert groups were made in the class and they researched on four different topics- town planning, social life, art & architecture and technology. After their research work they presented their finding in their class which was followed by an intra-class discussion within expert groups. Now, they are in the process of making final drafts, charts and models for their exhibition. The students are supposed to submit their work on Monday.
