U.O.I : Played the game ‘Passing the ball’ and Snatching the eggs’ and took the reflection on it. There was one to one discussion with the students regarding Passing the ball where in the students discussed about the strategies they could have used in order to win and also they discussed the mistakes that they made while playing the game.
Students also said that they lost the game because they were not concentrating. Also they said that we were not standing with broad legs so because of that the player who had to crawl through was not able to crawl.
An indoor game was played known as Broken Squares where each student was given three broken pieces of a square and they had to arrange it in order to make a prefect square. The rules of the game were that there should be no communication with the other member. No verbal communication and also they were not supposed to use sign language. The learning outcome was said itself by the students that it is not possible to play a game without communicating with the other members.
The reflection for all the games was taken through the graphic organizer.
Lang: Revision was done in the language book of whatever was done so far. New topic was introduced i.e ‘demonstrative pronouns (that, this, these and those) and verbs (has, have, had, is, are, do and does). New reader name ‘playball Amelia Bedelia was read aloud only till page no. 14. Pre-reading activity was done by watching the video of ‘playball Amelis Badelia’ and reflection was taken by KWL chart for the same. This reader is integrated with our games unit. Reflection was taken for the same and once homophones and homonyms were revised.
Math: Revision was done for whatever done so far in their math book.
Bullying – one more session was done of ‘why do people bully and how do you feel when they bully you?’ and reflection was taken in the graphic organizer.
Learn 5 to 7 lines in Gujarati language on topic ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œyour favorite placeÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â.(e.g. hill station, mountain ) Which you visited.Parents please help your child in preparing this as he/she has to present orally in front of other students in your Gujarati class.

They have begun to write ‘Autobiography’ on some of their favouriteÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â characters and topicsÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â like ‘Brown mouse, Graffelo, Sleepy sophie, Cat in the hat, Table, Tree, Peacock, Lion, Television, Pen, Pencil, Flower, Butterfly,etc. Help them to enrich their vision using good vocabularies. Encourage them to make a booklet of their ‘Autobiography’ collection. I will display them in the class. Watch your ‘Writer’ grow.
Prepare and learn the script of your Drama. Get ready with costumes in next class ( Thursday 7 February). You have to present your selected scripts in the form of Drama. please talk with your group members and practice whenever you are getting free time in school. If your Drama will be presented well then it can be uploaded on YOU TUBE. So start practicing……….
The learners acquired an understanding of the self through the game ” snatching the egg. They were presented with an opportunity to develop their social and self management skills. Their self realization about the learner profile – Pricipled was an eye opener for them. They also focused on the attitude respect. These images clearly reflects their enthusiasm and involvement towards the game.
