The second day of Arts week was – Music day. Four of the sections of Sr.KG were taken to the music room yesterday where they got an opportunity to see and listen to different musical instruments such as keyboard, drums, guitars, shakers, sticks, etc. They could identify the emotions behind the piece of music played such as happy, sad, angry, excited, etc. They also learnt that through music , we can express any idea or any message also. The message could be some celebrations, aarti, parade, comedy, etc.
It was a good experience for the learners and the teachers too. Thanks to our Music Team who made this possible!!
As a part of our on-going unit-How we express ourselves, learner’s were shown different dance forms to exhibit various expressions namely-
They came to know that we can express ourselves through dance non verbally.
We celebrated color day on 2nd Feb. Each class was decorated in a single color. Sr.KG Glitter was draped in white. White is a color of peace and purity. So we displayed white doves, flowers, candles, balloons, ghost, snowman with snow, milk etc. The learners were described the expression of each color by visiting all the other classes.
The learners were overjoyed to see their HRT dressed as a ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‹Å“fairyÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ and didi as a ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‹Å“nurseÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢.
