Today being the last day before Diwali vacation, students were looking forward for the potluck party. The excitement and gusto to celebrate the day was evident in the morning itself and student were keen to share their favorite food item with the friends.
Before the party began, students were shown “Green Diwali ”  video. Students appreciated the message given in this video regarding the noise pollution and saving electricity. I am sharing few thoughts which students shared -:
This is how we will make our Diwali green -:
1. Plant a tree as a symbol of remembrance on this Diwali, 2013.
2. Do pop-rocket/Balloon experiment. Its a fun as well as a science learning.
3. Making wax candles for decoration instead of using decorative LED lights that requires energy .
Indeed, a thoughtful reflection given by the students.
After the potluck party, we watched the movie ” Cloudy with a chance of meatballs”.
Wishing you all a  “Happy  and Safe Green Diwali”.
