Today we learnt the format of formal and Informal letters. The format is attached for your reference. (refer link)Letter Format

As a practice, please write a Love Letter from Romeo to Juliet/ Laura to Hughie expressing your love and how you will meet all difficulties for your beloved. End the letter on a positive note. The word limit of the letter is 120-140 words.

Submission Date: 4th March, 2014.

Learners revised all the grammar concepts done till now through 5  minutes grammar.

[Unit Of Inquiry] [Read Aloud]

“Franklin plays the game” written by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark. Through this read aloud a detailed discussion was taken on the benefits of team-work, thus catering the third line of inquiry: “Challenges and rewards of team-work”. Further,  they also wrote reflection answering certain questions that were based on the story.

Language

Learners read few pages of the new reader. They also revised adjectives from the reader.

Morning Task: The learners were asked to write 5 adjectives for “book”

[Unit Of Inquiry]

Read aloud of “Franklin plays the game” was done. The learners were asked to write the answers of the given questions. Discussion was taken after the read aloud catering to 3rd LOI.

Language

10 new words were given and explained the meaning of the same.

The learners were read few pages of new reader. They were asked to illustrate their favorite part of the reader so far.

Math

The learners practiced pictograph. They were asked to see the pictograph and frame the questions. The learners practiced clock reading.
