Grade 1 Amity- How we express Ourselves!!

How we express ourselves:

Read aloud of the book “Hop on POP”was done, written by Dr.Seuss
After the read aloud, the teacher conducted an inquiry on the purpose of writing a book. Later, learners were asked to observe the illustrations and the writing style of the book. Learners reflected very well.
The learners were able to connect this learning engagement with the central idea “Authors and Illustrators express themselves in a variety of ways”.

Read aloud was done by Vaishali ma’am-

Dear Parents,

Here are a few glimpses of the learners who have been consistently speaking in English in class. There were other learners who made an attempt and were given a pencil as an appreciation.I take this opportunity to thank the parents who motivated and encouraged their children to speak in English. This was not the end I will be giving another appreciation at the end of the year to those children who put in efforts to speak in English. So please motivate your children to speak in English.

Important note

Important note

Dear Parents,

Please note that from now onwards we will not be posting ‘reflection of the day’ on the school blog. Students have already started reflecting on their daily tasks done in class and they will be writing the same in their reflection journal  with the learning outcome, which you must have seen in their book. We will continue with ‘reflection of the day’ in the notebook only, rather than posting it on the blog. You can check the blog for other activities done in the class.

If you have any doubts related to the curriculum, you can either email or write in the communication diary.

We request you to kindly check the reflection book and sign it for confirmation.

Regards,

Shruti 🙂
