Language Enhanced through Guided Play

Learners revised ‘ad’ and ‘ag’ family words through Guided play . The centers for the activity were:-

Center 1:The learners had to touch as many words as they could, of a particular word family using their hands and feet.

Center 2: The kids had to sort the words according to the word family.

The children practiced the concept of more and less through this activity in guided play,  they had to divide themselves in two groups as per the instructions given by the teacher. Then they counted the number of members in each group and said that the group with more members in it will be eaten by the crocodile. Sharing a few glimpses of the activity.

The learners revised the concept of “Ascending order” through the Math learning centers.

  • Center 1- Arranging the pictures in ascending order
  • Center 2- Arranging the leggos in ascending order
  • Center 3- Arranging different number flash card in ascending order
  • Center 4- Making number from jodo blocks (using tens and ones grouping) and arranging them in ascending order.

Hi all,

On 1 August 2014, as CW, we chose two professions and wrote a few sentences on the same. Your HW, as discussed yesterday in the class, is an extended version of the same.

Using all the vocabulary to describe – appearance, character etc. that we are learning you add to the text that you wrote as CW. You then read it and record your voice and add it to the folder that has been shared with you by 8 August 2014. The text should have minimum 60 words.
