LEAP: Learning Enrichment and Advancement Program
LEAP session was conducted where the learners were introduced to ‘SUDOKU’ using shapes. Sudoku puzzle board was given to each pair. They were fully engrossed in solving it. Through this session they enhanced their logical thinking skills. They enjoyed solving puzzle. ðŸ™‚

UOI:ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners were introduced to the imagination workstations. They were given prompts for each workstation. The workstations and the prompts are as follows:

(1) Rangometry:ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners placed the rangometry objects on the scrap book and drew the outline of it. Thus, turning it to an imaginary object.
Prompts
(i) What instigated you to create this object? (II) Mention the number of shapes used by you.
(2) Thumbprints:ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners created three themes using three thumbprints of their own.
Prompts:
(I) Name the themes
(3) Imaginary Body:ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners imagined how they want their body to be and thus drew an imaginary body?
Prompts:
(i) What is different about it? (ii) Why do you think we should have this kind of physique?
(4) Circle interpretation :ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners created an object using only circles.
Prompts:
(i) Why you chose to make this figure?(ii) What you thought while choosing it? Give reason.
(5) Suzan Striker worksheet:ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners had to complete a picture by using their imagination. ThereÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â were three worksheets and they had to select any one to create the imaginary picture.
Learning Outcome: To stimulate imagination.
Language : Teacher revised about the elements of a book and read the second chapter from the ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â  reader- The magic faraway tree- Enid Blyton.
Students showed good interest while the read aloud.

Today is 23rd September and it is September equinox.Check the newspaper or internet for today’s sunrise and sunset.

The September equinox (or Southward equinox) is the moment when the sun appears to cross the equator, heading southward. Due to differences between the calendarÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â year and the tropical year, the September equinox can occur at any time from the 21st to the 24th day of September. At the equinox, the sun rises directly in the east and sets directly in the west.

Note: A tropical year (also known as a solar year), for general purposes, is the length of time that the SunÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â takes to return to the same position in the cycle of seasons, as seen from Earth.
