Settling Time: Learners wrote words of the week.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â “imagination, perspective, curious, nibble,Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â marvellous,Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â adventures, appreciation, enchanted, strangeÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â andÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â impatient”

UOI:

Learners didÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â the imagination workstations. They were given prompts for each workstation. The workstations and the prompts are as follows:
(1) Rangometry:
Learners placed the rangometry objects on the scrap book and drew the outline of it. Thus, turning it to an imaginary object.
Prompts
(i) What instigated you to create this object? (II) Mention the number of shapes used by you.
(2) Thumbprints:
Learners created three themes using three thumbprints of their own.
Prompts:
(I) Name the themes
(3) Imaginary Body:
Learners imagined how they want their body to be and thus drew an imaginary body?

(i) What is different about it? (ii) Why do you think we should have this kind of physique?
(4) Circle interpretation :
Learners drew five circles and thus created an imaginary object from it.

(5) Suzan Striker worksheet
Learners saw several pictures. The pictures referred to the use of scissor to create several imaginary objects. The learners were given three worksheets and they had to select any one to create the imaginary picture.

Empowering English:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learns recited the poemÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â “Conversation”.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â The animal sounds were discussed through the poem. The sound of several animals was also written on the board. Thus, the learners were introduced to the figure of speech “Onomatopoeia.”

Learning Outcome:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â To enhance the comprehension skills through poems.
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Math:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners did a class survey on the liking for the flavour of ice-cream. They were introduced to the steps of making a Bar Graph. Thus, they plotted the data in the graph book by making a Bar Graph.

Learning Outcome:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â To introduce graph to enhance data handling skills.

Learners orally predicted the further story of the reader ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œThe Magic Faraway TreeÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Âand read chapter 2 ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œOff to the enchanted woodsÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â

Learners revised the 5 Transdisciplinary Skills (Research skills, Social management skills , Communication skills , Thinking skills and Self- Management skills) orally.

[Unit Of Inquiry]

A guest speaker session was conducted by the HOS- Vardan Kabra. He shared his history of migration with the learners. He also shared the reasons of his migration and the terms like ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œmigrantÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â and ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œimmigrationÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â were introduced in the session.

Language Development: Learners revised the grammar concepts from their LWE reference book.

[Homework]

Learners have to do the given reflection sheet on theÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â movie ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œIce Age The MeltdownÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â.

UOI: Learners completed the imagination workstations that were introduced yesterday.

Learning outcome- To stimulate imagination.

Math:

A real life example was given to the learners to represent the data through the graph. The data was written on the board and the learners represented it through the Bar Graph. Learners also answered several interpretation questions based on the data analysis.

Learning Outcome: To enhance data handling skills.

Note- Students visited the business fair by Grade 8 students. Now they wonÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t be going to the fair tomorrow as there is loss of time if they are allowed all the days. They can visit the fair now on Friday. You can send Rs. 100/- with students and not more than that.

Homework:
Language- Learners need to learn the poems- “Cats”, “Mice” and “My Cousin Fred.”
