Discover: Reflection of the day – 25th September’14

Discover: Reflection of the day – 25th September’14

Beautiful day !

Unit of inquiry: After watching Ice Age movie, learners answered few questions as a part of reflection in their UOI notebook. They were asked to guess the TDT. One of the learner made right connection by stating that it could be ‘Where we are in place and time’ as these days everything we are discussing about places, shifting and travelling.

We together read the description of TDT which talks about ‘personal history’ and ‘migration’. They made connection again with the story – Grand father’s journey where the author was talking about his grandfather’s journey (history) and how they travelled and migrated to different places. Now learners are introduced with the better word for shifting – ‘migration’ and the one who migrates is called ‘migrant’. From the movie they also understood that animals also migrates for different reasons.

Learners attended assembly.

Every learner was well prepared and performed well for attire competition. Good job parents. 🙂

Single subject: Hindi.

Homework: Worksheet— Reflection of the Ice age movie.

Shruti 🙂
