Peer Teaching in Dazzle.

Peer Teaching in Dazzle.

We all will agree with these 2 sayings- ” We learn better when we teach” and ” We enjoy learning from our friends”. So to practically experience this, we had done ‘Peer teaching’ in Dazzle. Some of the kids are given responsibility to teach few other students. By this, confidence level boosts up and bonding increases between the students. Also the students enjoy learning from their friends!!

Some snapshots of the Dazzlers engrossed in learning with friends:

Potluck party

Potluck party

Dear parents,

Please note the following regarding last day party before Diwali break:
1.  Students can celebrate on the last day before diwali vacation by bringing home-made food as per Friday food policy. However, this time, there is a twist: children can only bring traditional Indian food on this day- so no pasta, pizza, garlic bread, noodles, potato smileys etc. Kachoris, samosa, vada, medu wada, halwa, chaat, laddoo, sukhdi etc is fine. Ideally, encourage children to stick to non bread times. However, bread rolls, pav bhaji is fine. Use this opportunity to talk to children how Indian junk food can also be tasty and cool!
2. Children should be in school uniform only.
3. Do not send too much quantity of food as there is huge food wastage on this day. (The quantity should be that much that the child can have it as well as share the same with his/ her classmates as well)

Just to share with you all that…

Potluck- A potluck is a gathering of people where each person or group of people contribute a dish of food prepared by the person or the group of people, to be shared among the larger gathered group.
