UOITuning in to the new unit-Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Teacher asked theÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â  provocative questionsÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â  like ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œWhere do you live ?ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â etc. and then followed by a few more questionsÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â  as per the inquiry,and the students attemptedÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â  various workstations through globe,worksheet,ppt and tuned into the new unit Climate.

Learners continued with their Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â X-BOX Practice.

Math-Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Formative assessment of the multiplication sums was taken (partlyÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â done). Learners were given one sum and they had to solve it by all the four methods.

Learning Outcome:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â To check learnersÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ understandingÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â of the methods done.

Homework-Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â  Read chapter 11 and 12 from the reader ‘ The Magic Faraway Tree’.

## Science fair note for all Middle years students

Dear Grade 7,8 and 9 students,

A reminder:

It is very important that you use all safety measures when presenting your project. It is compulsory for all students to be in complete uniform (especially pants no shorts and shoes with socks not floaters), wear lab coats and use gloves while handling chemicals. You need to wear safety goggles wherever a chemical reaction is required. Don’t spill water near any electric connections. Gloves and safety goggles will be provided by school. You will be provided with tongs too when you don’t have to touch a chemical.You can use disposable spoons for handling any powder even if it is as simple as Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â corn starch.

These conditions were already made clear in the blog post before Diwali vacation.

Enjoy your exploration with science keeping in mind all safety aspects.
