Science fair note for all Middle years students

Science fair note for all Middle years students

Dear Grade 7,8 and 9 students,

A reminder:

It is very important that you use all safety measures when presenting your project. It is compulsory for all students to be in complete uniform (especially pants no shorts and shoes with socks not floaters), wear lab coats and use gloves while handling chemicals. You need to wear safety goggles wherever a chemical reaction is required. Don’t spill water near any electric connections. Gloves and safety goggles will be provided by school. You will be provided with tongs too when you don’t have to touch a chemical. You can use disposable spoons for handling any powder even if it is as simple as  corn starch.

These conditions were already made clear in the blog post before Diwali vacation.

Enjoy your exploration with science keeping in mind all safety aspects.

Regards,

Science team.
