Settling Task:
Learners wrote one thing that they like about themselves.

Learners discussed about “Sun†and “Earth†in details
[Language]
Learners were introduced 10 new spellings of the week- over, sentence, little, went, answer, study, Earth, planets, wish, shade. They were explained the meaning of the same and they orally framed sentences using the above words. Later on, they wrote the words two times in their writing notebook.
Language Development:Learners revised the grammar concepts from their LWE reference book.

Settling task: Learners had to draw a picture showing two preposition.

Learners learnt Splitting strategy of addition. They solved several examples orally using this strategy. They also did the same in their math notebook.
Splitting method:   eg:
     23 + 5420+3 + 50+4
70 + 7=77 |
NOTE: This is a mental math strategy which will help them to do the calculations faster.

Learners discussed about day and night view of the sky. They also discussed how day and night occurs. They were shown a video and based on that they concluded that rotation of Earth on it’s own axis causes day and night.
