X Box Event – Hurray!!!!!! We did it….

Dear Parents, 

Hurray!!!!!!! Finally, we completed our grand event with all your cooperation and students’ efforts.

Hence, we would like to appreciate all the parents for their efforts in guiding the students in learning their scripts of the performances and make this grand event of the academic year 2014-2015 – “The X-BOX” a great success.

Also, we appreciate all the students for their impeccable performance throughout the show.

TDT: How we organize ourselves     

Central Idea: Many products go through the process of change before they are consumed or used.

  • Field Trip- Students visited the Amul factory and a chocolate factory on 29th November to understand the process and reflected on it.

Learning outcome: To understand the origin of products and their process.

Language:

  • Tuning in – Introduction of  narrative writing. Students watched a video and reflected on it.

       Learning outcome: To help students make the first creation.

  • Narrative writing:  Students understood the form of narrative writing by doing the following activity.

Students reflected on their 1st creation & put the events in sequence. They identified the characteristics of narrative writing.

Learning outcome: To help students understand the form of narrative writing.

Math:

  • Introduction of core pattern:  Students understood core pattern by creating different patterns using  rangometery.
  • The students practised the core patterns in their math notebooks.

Learning Outcome: To help students understand the core pattern

Addition:

Students  enhanced their thinking skills by using different strategies for adding. (Number line, ganit male)

Learning outcome: To help students understand addiction

The learners were very eager to execute the birthday party which they had planned and organised. They had a great time in arranging the resources and decorating the class. They enjoyed the party as if it was one of their true friend’s birthday. They even wished the Teddy bear picture as that’s what the practice. Here are the glimpses of their celebration.
