Math: Learners were introduced number line to solve sums. They practised solving a sum using 4 different methods – Splitting, compensating, Monterio cubes and number line.

Language:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Learners practised identifying all parts of speech through LWE reference book.

Single subjects: VA, Gujarati and Hindi

Homework: Math worksheet on solving a sum using 4 different ways. Class worksheet is attached for reference.

1)Learners discussed the reasons of life possible on Earth through a mind map. Through this the 2nd L.O.I- ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œQualities of Earth that support lifeÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â was catered. Later on, they also drew a mind map in their U.O.I notebooks for the same.

2)Learners gave a reflection through 4R graphic organizer.They also unpacked the Central Idea through a word wall. ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œEarthÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s position and condition makes life sustainableÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â.

Highlights of the day :

UOI ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ A discussion of the homework done by the students (collage work) was taken in class today. The teacher noted the various energies with examples on the board. Students then wrote various inquiry questions they had in their mind related to the discussion, on a piece of paper which will be pasted on the knowledge tree.
