[Highlight Of The Day]

Learners framed the routines & Procedures for ‘Cleanliness’ (inside & outside the classroom). They also self checked their Math summer H.W with the help of HRT solving their common doubts.

Learners presented their Class Mission Statement with all the Grade 5 students.

Learn the spellings & meaning of all the section names of grade 5 for the dictation tomorrow.

Highlights:-

1. Teacher distributed the books to the learners.

2. Class mission statement was discussed  in the class by way of learners giving their inputs enthusiastically.

3. Read aloud catering to the learner profiles; Reflective, Inquirer and Thinker, was done in the class by the teacher followed by a short discussion of the same. Learners then prepared displays in groups for the same.

 

Homework:-

1. Complete your math revision worksheet 2 ( both sides ).

2. Class mission statement will be discussed and decided in the class tomorrow so be prepared with some creative ideas and logo for the same.

Day 4

Highlights of the day :

1. Homework discussion was taken in the class of math summer and revision worksheet. Learners’ doubts were cleared by the teacher .

2. Read aloud catering to the learner profiles; ‘Reflective’. They were also able to relate it to the attitudes viz., Confidence and Commitment.

Homework :

MATHS –  Complete the remaining part of worksheet 2 of the Math revision worksheets.

Note:  Class mission statement will be discussed and decided in the class tomorrow so be prepared with some creative ideas for the same.

Highlights:

1. Homework discussion was taken in the class. Learners’ doubts were cleared by the teacher and they started attempting for worksheet 3 in the class as well.

2. Read aloud catering to the learner profile; Thinker and Caringwas done in the class by the teacher followed by a short discussion of the same. Learners then prepared display for the same. They were also able to relate it to the attitude viz., Respect.

Homework:

MATHS –  Complete the  worksheet 4 of the Math revision worksheets.

LANGUAGE –  Complete the first Poem comprehension (6 questions) of the Language revision worksheets given in the class today.

First day at school !!!!!!!!!

Dear parents,

A warm welcome to the new academic session. Our young learners had a great time on their first day in school. They started their day with an ice breaking activity in which they had to introduce themselves and tell their three favorite things. They also enjoyed all the fun activities like read aloud, videos, wiggles, art and craft etc thoroughly.

Hello dear parents,

My name is Miss Mary Gerad and I am the art teacher in Grade 3 for all sections. I will be teaching Visual Art and Drama.

Welcome to yet another adventurous year where you will be witnessing the unfolding of the educational journey of children. You will also see the transformation and growth in arts field since it is said that there is an artist hidden in every child, yet to be discovered.

In visual arts today the learners became familiar with the art teacher, discussed their likes and dislikes and explored their creativity and wrote their names in a creative way.

Learners started their day with the morning task. They framed the class mission statement through discussions. They also revised the Learner Profiles and Attitudes through an activity as a group task.

Learners also spent time to know more about each other through outdoor games. They prepared  for the class presentation.

Day-4

Learners made an Acrostic poem of their class section’s name. It was done as a whole class activity. They also continued watching movie”Chicken Run”.

Math revision was also done.

Homework:

Decorate the popsicle given to you ,write your name and roll no. too.

Make an acrostic poem on your name. Color paper sent for the same.
