Highlights:

1. Language homework discussion was taken in the class and the learners self-checked their work.

2. Learners attempted the poetry comprehension and the story elements based on a book or a movie.

3. The teacher did the read aloud of the learner profile ‘Inquirer’ and the learners prepared a chart based on it.

4. The learners solved the word problems and the same was discussed by the teacher.

Homework:

Language: Learners will complete the following questions in the language revision worksheet.

1. Narrative writing (up to 75 words)

2. Write a poem.

Learners were shown movie ‘Chicken run‘ in the class. They did group discussion on the characters of the movie and which all places 7 habits were followed by them.  Later, they did a reflection worksheet in the class.

Math: Learners did a revision sheet in the class.

Language Development:
Teacher did a revision of the grammar concepts done in Grade 2 from the reference book ‘Language With Ease’.

Homework:-

Solve the next 2 pages of the Math revision booklet and bring it back tomorrow without fail.

Highlights

Day 6

1. Math and Language homework discussion was taken in the class and the learners self checked their work.

2. Learners attempted for Math worksheet 7 with teacher’s assistance.

3. A chart on learner profile- open-minded was prepared in the class with the learners’ inputs.

Homework :

Math : 1. Complete worksheet 9 and (c) in worksheet 8 as explained in the class.

2. Think of ideas for our class presentation as discussed in the class

NOTE : Learners have to carry a dictionary regularly to school.

Day -6

Students prepared the charts  on attitudes after discusssion on the  A4 sheets.They were reflective and expressed their thoughts creatively.

Discipline policy and food policy was discussed and explained.

Language:
Learners did a revision worksheet in class.

Revision of Grade 2 grammar was done.

Language revision worksheet- Q IX – 1,2, 3,4
Leap – The leap session was enjoyed by the students where they had to introduce themselves in a funny manner ,the use of synonyms and even and odd numbers made it quite interesting for the students to interact as well as have fun.
Note : Last reminder for the passport size photographs to be brought for door decoration.Kindly bring it tomorrow wothout fail.

Language:
Learners did a revision worksheet in class.
Language Development:
Revision of Grade 2 grammar was done.
Learners filled in the reflection for the movie “Chicken Run”.
The teacher revised the “Attitude’“in the class through bus stop activity. They were asked to write their comment on  each  Attitude.

Highlights and Homework of Grade 6 Contemplate – 15th June

The Contemplators were excited and nervous at the same time. It was the day for theGrade Presentation. The day was utilized for a final practice and last minute improvisations. However, the confidence with which they performed on stage is worth appreciating. Grade 6 Contemplate – YOU ALL ROCK!!!

HOMEWORK

1. Complete the Maths and Language revision worksheets(Given on Friday, discussion tomorrow). Sums to be done in Maths Notebook.

2. The ones who have yet not completed Vacation H.W, make sure you complete today and submit tomorrow.

3. Bring the pictures of famous personalities for LP activity and also search and write description (rough draft) in a given paper/ reflection book(as discussed in class on Friday)

4. Nobody needs to bring chrome books to school.

Yay… today finally it arrived.. We have been waiting for more than a while now to showcase our all back-end hard work and enlighten others with our performance.

We gave a stupendous performance and had a lot of fun.

We also did an activity to understand learner profiles with a different perspectives.

Day-6

Learners  discussed about the class mission statement & framed the statement.Teacher revised the “Learner Profile” & “Attitudes” & students wrote the same through the Hot Potato activity.Learner did the math revision worksheet(2 pages of multiplication).

Homework:-

Math revision worksheet to be completed.

Note:-I will share the timetable once it will be finalized.

Day 6

1. Maths homework discussion was taken in the class and the learners self checked their work.

2. Learners started question 2 (punctuate and parse) of Language revision worksheets.

3. Read alouds were done in the class catering to the Learner profiles  – Thinker and Inquirer and a discussion was taken about the same. The attitude Curiosity was also catered through the read aloud.

4. Class mission statement was formed by the learners.

Homework :

Math : Complete the multiplication and division sums from the revision worksheets as discussed in the class.

Language : Complete question 2 (punctuate and parse) from the revision worksheet if not completed in the class. Also complete the poem writing as discussed in the class.

NOTE : Learners have to carry a dictionary regularly to school.
