Dear students’You can search any article or video related to food and water problem. You can share the link through replying to this . The next week activity will be based on your selected link , so every one has to choose the link.Pairs will be decided today in the class.
You choose the article or video related to Global issues’ – Sub topic- Food and water, then you have to mail it to me , then you prepare questions according Paper 1 and you will conduct the class for 15 minutes on 30/6/15 and 1/7/15. Some questions will also be prepared by me which will be asked in the class.
Here I am making pairs, so you will work according it.

Language Highlights for the Week, Grade 7 (Acuity & Idea)
This week, we continued with the poem ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œThe Frog and the Nightingale ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“Vikram SethÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â. We had a detailed discussion on how to write the answers in the desired manner to the questions asked. This was done to frame grammatically correct sentences and make their writing interesting.
Students also went to the library for the book-club activity. ItÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s heartening to know the interest generated among the students for reading and the prospective joy of achievement that accompanies it.
Language Highlights for the Week, Grade – 7 (Insight, Envisage, Vision)

We also started with the work-book this week. Students attempted activities from the unit ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 3 wherein they practiced making notes for writing summary, use of adjectives and thinking about their order. Students also went to the library for the book-club activity.

French_Grade 10_Highlight and curriculum of this month
Literature:We continued with Sredni Vashtar. They students also completed a Question which required them to analyze the character/setting/devices and impact on readers. The students are expected to revise all that is done at home.
Language:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Students have begun Narrative Writing Coursework and have worked on the first draft.
Bookclub:The students have picked up a book and have also selected the phase that they want to pursue for the year.
This week the students explored the topic of formal and informal letter writing in a detailed manner by identifying the differences between the two and sharing the same with the class through interactive discussions.
They were then required to incorporate the changes/differences in the letter writing homework which was given during the previous week. The objective here is that the students themselves identify, rectify and improve their performance in letter writing.
Abnormal psychology unit was continued in the psychology class. Few sub topics were:
1. DSM and ICD
2. Studies conducted on reliability and validity of the evaluation methods and PET and CAT tests.
3. Ethical Considerations
The topics were discussed in the class. Students also did pair work wherein they explored the tests in depth and also searched for relevant videos. Even the psychological tests were discussed in depth along with their limitations.
Note: Students are expected to submit their holiday HW and give updates on EE in the next class.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â
