Learners were introduced to the concept of sorting by piling up their belongings in the centre of the classroom instead of keeping them in their respective places. When they saw a pile of bags, tiffin and bottles , they started to exclaim their dislike towards the same. When they were asked “Why don’t you like when things are out in a pile like this?” Learners responded by saying, ” If we keep things this way, we won’t be able to find our things. And we should keep bags, tiffin sand bottles separately.” They then sorted and kept their own belongings in their respective places. And this was how they were introduced to the term and concept of sorting!
