Tuning in -Gallery Walk, house making, puzzles

Central Idea  :Our relationships with family and friends can have an impact on our well being.

As a part of the tuning-in stage for our first unit, the learners were taken for a gallery walk where different pictures were displayed  ( family pictures and pictures  of friends ). This helped arouse their curiosity, along with getting an insight into their prior knowledge.

Each learner made his/her own house on the brown paper bag and also illustrated his/her family members.

Learners did puzzle activity.
