Dear Parents,

Greetings ! This week we started with the topic “Politics and Government”.

We also covered Designing portion of their Internal Assessment Project.

By Monday, 13th July 2015, students will be completing their IA Project Design and they also have to submit their homework on Database.

In coming week, we will continue learning Politics and Government. It is a vast topic which would require two complete cycles of learning.

Dear Parents,

After the culmination of the unit on Quadratic Equations we started with sequences and series  and have completed the following topics in depth:

1)Introduction to sequences.

2)Describing the basic terminologies of sequences.

3)Introduction to Arithmetic and Geometric sequences.

4)Explicit and Implicit Formula.

After gaining thorough knowledge of the concepts mentioned above students solved practice exercises from the textbook.

Dear Parents,

Greetings ! We started the ITGS curriculum this week by introduction to the subject and understanding the assessment patterns.

The learners were made aware how this subject will help them in their future if they pursue Computers as their career. They also worked on display charts for ITGS.

In coming weeks, we will start with the Strand 1 of ITGS. i.e. Reliability, Integrity, Security, Privacy, Anonymity etc.

Dear Parents,

This week we covered following topics:

Digestive System: Students learned in detailed about alimentary canal, role of enzymes in digestion, transport of nutrients to whole body from alimentary canal through presentation, videos and classroom discussions.

Structure of teeth: They also learned structure of teeth and classroom discussion was done on tooth decay and gum disease.

Topic:cell

Students learnt about structure of typical animal cell as well as plant cell. They were able to make out difference between both the cell. They performed practicals on human cheek cells and got good results.They were able to solve worksheet  given as homework.They have also learned about magnification and able to solve numerical based on that. All students were actively participated during learning.

Sharing our past

As a part of our on going unit on”Where we are in place and time” with the central idea: Learning about previous generations helps people understand the relationship between the past and the present, the learners brought artifacts and photographs of their past, their parents childhood photos and things their parents got from ancestors. They were very excited share all the details of their things.

It also helped them to enhance their presentation skill, communication skill and confidence to speak in front of the class. Sharing few glimpses:

Dear,

We finished the unit 1 On sort where we talk about leisures, activities, and in grammar we learnt new tense that is imperfect tense.

In July, we will learn about vacation, accommodation during one stay, reason for going out in vacation, activities to do there, and learnt to deal on problems that we face there.
