The students were super excited after the introduction of Chromebooks. In the 1st slot, we discussed the routines and procedures with them. In the 2nd slot, the teacher demonstrated how to log in and log out with username and password.

Learning Engagement:Unpacking the central idea -They had a class discussion on ‘what is identity and how do we develop it’. They also discussed the knowledge gained in this unit and made connections. They understood how knowing about themselves helps their self identity to develop.

Learning Outcome:To help the students understand Central idea..

 

Language:

Learning Engagement:The students wrote their small moments using the small moments graphic organizer (Individual writing) and they also did the pre-writing using the graphic organizer.

Learning Outcome:To help students understand personal narrative writing.

 

Language development:

Learning Engagement:The learners chanted aloud the conjugation of ‘I want’. They also did pair work -Do you want a piece of cake? Yes, I would love to have some. No, not now, I just had a heavy breakfast.

Learning Outcome: To help students enhance their oral communication skills.

  1.  The pros and cons of having someone select your career. Include negative and positive aspects.” ( can be related to government unit as in not having the Rights)
  2. Make a list of the rules in Jonas’ community. Keep adding as you read.
  3. Jonas’ community has a lot of rules. Do you think that’s good or bad? Justify
  4. Brainstorm distinctive memories from growing up. Make sure memories are in complete sentences and not in list form.
