Chapter 12 from the reader – “The giver.”

Math

Learners practiced the concepts of area and perimeter using monteiro cubes in groups. They also used the chrome app – lego builder to practice the concepts of area and perimeter for square, rectangles and composite shapes.

[Unit Of Inquiry]

The learners were shown few videos to deepen their understanding about Democracy. These videos helped them understand about the Indian government, the origin of democracy, voting system etc.

Senior school- laboratory coat requirement and provision

Senior school- laboratory coat requirement and provision

Dear Parents and students,

Please note that laboratory coat is an essential requirement of science lab. Grade 7 students being new to senior school are provided with a new  lab coat whose cost will be deducted from imperest amount.

Other grade students from senior school who had lost their lab coat and needed new were also provided with a new lab coat whose cost will be deducted from imperest amount.

The cost of the lab coat is Rs. 355.00.

Students still requiring a new lab coat should contact Amisha madam in science lab.

A request: Please bring your lab coat regularly to school in lab slots. Keep it clean and considering personal hygiene don’t share it.

Note: A student without complete uniform (pants and shoes) and lab coat will not be allowed to perform an experiment as safety in laboratory is the first priority.

Bring plastic bottles of 3 different sizes. The  bottles need to be used, with caps, and can be a cold drink container or mineral  water bottles, you can also bring  some tins if you have. we shall need all of these from the next day 1.
