Grade 8 _ Zing _ Math _ Weekly updates of last two weeks

Dear Parents,

Here is a brief update of what we did in Math in past few days.

  1. After students completed exercise 1.18 (of Speed unit), they were taught each and every question of exercise 1.19 and exercise 1.20 in Math class which were based on Travel Graph.
  2. Then we started with the new unit- Vocabulary of sets of numbers, wherein a quick revision was done on Number system which they already learnt in previous grade.
  3. Also, the concept of Absolute value was introduced to them in this new unit and were given practice for the same through a worksheet which was already discussed in the class there itself.
  4. They were also provided a few notes on Number System based on which one worksheet was given to them in this weekend for homework.

Regards

Urvi Shah
