Badminton School Games Selection 2016-17

Dear all,

            The selection process for the Badminton School Games will be  at the Deaf and Dumb School on Saturday, 23rd July 2016 from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. Interested students have reach the venue by 02:30 PM.

Note:-

  1. Students also have to give their names to Mr. Krushi. R. Desai by tomorrow (Friday) (22/07/2016) before 02:00 PM.
  2. Last moment entries will not be entertained .
  3. Grade 6 to Grade 12 Students are eligible for the selection.
  4. Students have to bring  their Badminton kit for the selection and it should be a BWF (Badminton World Federation) approved  Racquet and Shuttlecocks.

Competitions Date:-

Under-14, 17 & 19 Boys is on 28th July.

Under-14, 17 & 19 Girls is on 29th July.

[Highlight Of The Day]

Teacher recited an Alliterative poem from an Empowering English Reference book- Godfrey Gordon Gustavus Gore and then she explained the poem to the students using ‘Inference’ strategy. Question answers were discussed where they learnt how to answer in full sentences. Later they noted down the answers from the board in their Empowering English notebook.

Math: The teacher revisited the concept of division( 4 digit divided by 2 digit up to 99).

Homework

Language: Answer the questions 7,8,9,10 of Gordon Godfrey Gore poem in full sentence.

Math: Solve the following questions in your Math notebook.

  1. 4586  ÷ 37
  2. 5692  ÷ 28
  3. 3621  ÷ 46
  4. The table shows the cost of party favors. Each party guest receives a bag with 1 balloon, 1 lollipop and 1 bracelet. What is the total cost for 9 guests?
