The day finally arrived, with lot of jitters Ã‚Â for the gracious guides. The students were however filled with energy and enthusiasm. Ã‚Â After the journey of trip to theater, stagecraft encounter, meeting the artists and artist encounter, the creative showcase finally arrived. It is a platform, where the students will express themselves creatively andÃ‚Â will focus on the skills that they have learnt during their sessions.
When students experience learning through a taste of something magical and tangible, they relish the knowledge and cherish its unforgettable impact for a lifetime. Ã‚Â Students collectively Ã‚Â transformed the space into an enchanting exhibition of their creative energy and expression, triggered by the entire Arts at Play week.
Day 3 and 4 Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Junoon arts at play with schools
The students Ã‚Â interacted Ã‚Â with the Ms. Sampurna Chattarji, a poetess recited a lot of beautifulÃ‚Â poems. Ã‚Â They got to know about her inclination towards writing Ã‚Â and the type of poetry she writes. The students asked several questions Ã‚Â and got good insight from her session.
Then after that the process for creative showcase started in their respective groups. Ã‚Â They prepared props, made scripts/few of them songs, drama etc..and were full of enthusiasm. They were lot of chaos but that’s Ã‚Â the process all about!
Day 4 Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Arts Encounter
We all were ready Ã‚Â for the session with Mr. Utkarsh Majumdar. HeÃ‚Â Ã‚Â is an actor, known for SatyaÃ‚Â , Saptapadii (2013) and Krazzy 4(2008) andÃ‚Â Ã‚Â has been doing theatre for several years. He has done plays in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Ã‚Â The students learnt how to be confident on stage/ few ethics of drama.. voice modulation. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session and interacting with him.
After lunch, we all continued with our work for the final day “creative showcase
You will be going for a field trip for Physics during school hours on 10 Aug 2016 (Day 6).
You are supposed to be in complete uniform(trousers and school shoes to be worn) and carry a notebook,pen and your i-card along with you.

Grade 7 Integrated Sciences Highlights of the week
Last week students had their Formative Assessment for the unit.
They performed a lab activity to measure boiling point of tap water.
They were taken for a field trip to Mahavir Synthesis Pvt. Ltd. where they got an exposure to the application of different techniques of Separating mixtures.
Language:Ã‚Â Students created a mind map in pairs for a given topic. Later, they were given an article forÃ‚Â the same topic to check whether their key ideas and supporting details matched with the ones given in the article.
Math: Discussion of Math homework.
Language With Ease: Punctuate and parse Week 5 Day 4 and Day 5 in your Language Writing notebook (in tabular format).
Learners identified the Key concepts, LOIs and related concepts of their current unit. They used their analytical skills and evaluation skills in order to narrow down to the focused concepts of the unit.
Learners shared how using annotations helped them make connections while reading “The Giver”.
