Dear Parents,

Here’s what we did this week:

  1. Students played Kahoot in class wherein mixed sums of Rounding were asked.
  2. Cross-checking of weekend H.W given. Doubts were made clear to the students.
  3. Further students were taught about the concept ‘Percentage’ in detail.
  4. Students could convert from percentage to fractions or decimals and vice-versa.
  5. Then we started with a new topic “Expressing one quantity as a percentage of another” and “Finding a percentage of a quantity” with real life situation based examples. Students did few sums from the reference book in the class and that were cross-checked.  Doubts were catered and made clear to them.
  6. Students could solve varied questions and word problems related to percentage, fractions and decimals.
  7. Weekend H.W has been given in Fractions, Decimals and Percentage Booklet for their practice.

  1. We have started with Quadratic equations.
  2. Students were made aware about how to solve Quadratic equations and to factorize them through splitting the middle term.
  3. Students were also taught a new way to factorize Quadratic equations through Completing the square method.
  4. Students have been given enough practice through text book and some extra questions in class.
  5. Students have also been homework related to the same.
