Exam Component 1 – Practical: To be done on Chromebooks Duration – 90 Minutes

Exam Component 2 – Theory: A task based on Design Cycle Duration – 30 Minutes

Day 4, Wednesday.

Language: A worksheet was given to the learners to identify the adjectives and  to replace it with its  synonyms. They were asked to describe their house using adjectives and writing 5-6 words ending with “ive”.

Math: Learners did hands on activity to get clear understanding about milliliters and liters.

  4. India & the World.

(Chapters from India & the World: Changing Relationships, India’s Relation with Pakistan & Relations with USA)

Case Study Topics: (60 Marks)

How might India develop its programme for Environmental Sustainability?

How might disputes over Jammu & Kashmir be addressed ?

Time for Core Theme: 2 Hours.

Time for Case Study: 1 Hour 45 Minutes.

Students need to write their answers in the answer booklet  for Core Themes. No extra sheets will be provided apart from Planning Sheet.

Glimps of Arts Field Trip to Vadodara

Art and Design students of Grade 9-10 have visited M.S.U. Fine Arts Collage as a part of their exploration of different media and have explore creative thinking and execution of  ideas using different media and techniques.

They have also visited Maharaja Fatehsing Museum. They have studied Raja Ravi Varma’s style through his paintings and also have explored many other artists of different genres e.g. Paining, Sculpture, Ceramic, Furniture, Fashion etc. They have learnt how to analyse art and artist in context of studying Art.

  • Students attempted a quiz and listened to the audio format of chapter 19 of the book ‘The Giver’ and followed the text in their book.

[Unit Of Inquiry]

  • Formative assessment was taken in the classroom.

[Math]

  • Students learned to find the missing angle and other sides using properties of quadrilaterals.

[Homework]

Complete HINDI AND GUJARATI homework.

[Note]

  • Dear Parents, Audio link of ‘The Giver’ has been shared with the students. Kindly ensure that they are not completely dependent on the audio link. However, It can be used to revise the chapters read or re-visit the chapter to have more clarity. Kindly use it to your advantage and help your child understand the reader in depth.

Dear parents,
We have started final process of Written assignment for HL and SL both. Students have to select 3 articles based on core topics in case of SL. In HL it will be based on story. On Day 2 block slot, 14 September, teacher will give them suggestions based on their selection.
Then they can start their writings.
10 October is soft deadline and 17 is hard deadline( already shared).
After 10 October teacher will give oral comments.
In case of doubts, ask through Dairy.
All this is explained in the class and we have shown them past year examples.
