UOI:

Revision was taken and then with Google earth and use of map as well as world map teacher did comparison of Mumbai many years ago when it was  separated in 7 islands and due to human interaction and land reclamation the islands combined together.All the three lines of Inquiry were discussed  again in detail  in context of the case studies.

Case study of New Zealand , Greenland and India was discussed in detail with the help of Google earth and article as per population ,climate, weather ,physical geography its zone ,human settlement and impact.

Homework :

U O I : Revise  the unit and know your country.

Language: Students read and comprehended the last four pages of the first chapter  from their reader ‘Charlotte’s Web’. They used the strategies ‘Monitoring Your Inner Conversation’ and ‘Activating Background Knowledge’ for comprehending.

Math: Students appeared for the ‘Summative Assessment’ on ‘Data Handling’.

Homework

Language: Students have to read the first chapter from the reader, find the meaning of any three new words and frame sentences using those words in the settling task notebook.

  2. ‘The Inner Sight’ – a poem by Colley Cibber was recited  and comprehended using ‘Questioning Strategy’.

1. The students have to write a paragraph of 5-7 lines on “How physically handicapped people may be differently abled”. Also they need to give a real life examples for the same.
2. The students have to read Chapter 1 from the reader ‘Charlotte’s Web’.
