Assessment was undertaken of the unit.

Homework:

a) Find the sum of the successor of six thousand four hundred and the predecessor of nine thousand eight hundred and twenty six

b) Find the difference between the successor of five thousand six hundred and the predecessor of six thousand five hundred forty

U O I – Learners completed their summative assessment and prepared for their presentation .They have started giving their presentations as well which will be completed tomorrow.
Language –  Learners did a task from Blah to brilliant using new verbs instead of simple ones and made an imaginary story using B,M,E.
for example if the sentence is :- Mohan walked in the garden. So instead of walked they will use Mohan strolled in the garden .Which is a task already given in LWE Which they used for their reference.
Read aloud was conducted.
Learners enjoyed the library session reading and knowing more about Enid blyton as a writer and the number of books written by her for children.
Homework –

[Highlight Of The Day]

Language:-  Students used the strategy ‘Think, Pair and Share’ to discuss ‘How the world would be without sound?’

UOI: Students unpacked the central Idea – “Children worldwide encounter a range of challenges, risks and opportunities” through word explosion for the unit- Risk and Challenges was taken up.

[Homework]

UOI: Identify and locate any problems /issues faced by children around you and note down on a paper which can be stuck in your  UOI notebook. You can also bring newspaper/magazine articles / pictures related to the same.

Language:

The students read the article again and wrote facts about turtles they came across in the provided booklet.

LWE: The students did the writing task in their Language with Ease book.

Homework:

  1. Yertle the Turtle booklet- Read the article “Green Sea Turtle” given on pg no. 2 and complete the exercise given on pg no. 4 ie. the facts and opinions about Sea Turtle.
  2. Students have to complete the given worksheet (facts and opinions)

Math:

Write backward counting from 1298 till 1278

Write number name of the following :

  2. 6390
  3. 8805
  4. 1074
