Phonological awareness:- Oral activities:
- Identify the rhyming words: Teacher spoke two words like play-clay, bus- ton and asked to identify whether they are rhyming words or not.
- Activity: Teacher formed 10 pairs in the class and gave 7 jodo blocks of the same colour.Then, the teacher slowly and clearly spoke the passage about a flower and asked students to put forward a block whenever they heard the word /flower/.This activity has enhanced their listening skills.
Learners were given different toys :
They enjoyed playing with the toys and mingled up with their friends.
It helped them to enhance their Social and Communication skills.
Revision of the story Ã¢â‚¬Å“Pepper (Priya) watches too much TvÃ¢â‚¬Â using hand puppets.

Bag rack Activity:
All the bag racks of Jr.KG classes were made messy by the teachers before the arrival of the learners. There was no space for them to keep bags. Once the learners started coming and began to follow their routines and procedures, they wondered what is wrong with the racks and voiced their opinion like Ã¢â‚¬Å“ why have you kept everything in the rack, where will we keep our bags now?. Students have also come up with multiple solutions for the same.This activity showcased their understanding of space.
Firstly, teacher filled the jar with sand, water, small stones and big stones where there will be less objects were fitted in the space. Later, teacher asked for the alternate way to fill the jar and tried to fill the same by adding big stones and emphasized on is there any more space left in the jar? so then it was filled with small stones, sand and water.This way, the space has been used in an organized way to fit in more objects in the jar. This activity showcased their understanding of how we use space.
Bedsheet dance activity ( integration with dance):
Learners were asked to dance on open bedsheet till the music was on.Here, all the learners were able to fit on the bedsheet as there was enough space for all.It was repeated many times till the small fold of the bedsheet.This way, different quantity of students could stand on every fold of the bedsheet.This activity showcased their understanding of how we use space.
