Language:- Learners understood how mannerism helps us to describe people. They observed 2 students  and in groups created a rough draft. Then, they individually wrote a final short description based on the rough draft.

UOI:- Learners explored below centers and reflected with the questions :

  1. What message did you get?
  2. How effectively was the message conveyed?
  3. How do you feel about what you have explored?
  4. What according to you could be a different and yet an effective way to convey this message?

They answered all four questions for each centres.

Math:-Students watched a video on choosing a suitable graph for a particular real life situation and how do they help us to organize data more effectively. To further check their understanding, a quiz was played on the same topic.

Language:- Learners understood how mannerism helps us to describe people. They observed the HRT and in groups created a rough draft. As a class, we then modified and created a final paragraph which described the HRT.

Language:

  • To activate students’ Background Knowledge, an oral discussion of birds and snakes was taken up in the class. The students also read an article on ‘Crows’ and KWL chart was also prepared with students’ responses. A fact file on ‘Crows’ was made with students and they copied it in the language notebook.

UOI:

  • The students were shown different food-chains and food webs that helped them understand the relationship between the humans and animals. The students also participated in making different food-chains online along with the teacher.
