Math – Learners practiced multiplication with place value kit.
U O I – Learners discussed the central idea of the unit and tried to find the same with jumbled words and reflected what they understood from that .
They watched a video of simple machines and reflected their understanding on the graphic organizer.
Note : Ã‚Â Students need to fill up the sports day selection form by 7th December 2016. Then after the students will not be allowed to participate for the sports day.They are suppose to wear only the house T-Shirts during the sports day and not the school uniform. Secondly if any student does not have the house T-Shirt can wear the same color T-Shirt.

Learners played one card game which focused on the describing words (adjectives); in groups of fours.Teacher provided one set of picture cards and one set of describing word cards. Students were divided into 5 groups and each had one leader who distributed eight cards to each of the player.Then the students had to select one picture card and had to match at least four adjectives for the same. Students practiced and revised adjectives through this game.They found this game very interesting and they learned few new words with their meaning.Students enhanced their social skills by playing this game in groups.
Catch the star
Learners played one board game Ã¢â‚¬Å“Catch the starÃ¢â‚¬Â in Ã‚Â pairs.Teacher provided two types of game. First game had numbers from 1 to 20 and the other one had numbers from 0 to 25. This game is a great way to practice and revise Math facts and it also helps to develop mental calculation skills.
Teacher provided a board game,two /three die and two different colour counters to each Ã‚Â pair. Students had to roll both the die and add both the numbers. After adding whatever answer comes he/she has to cover the number using the counter.The same was repeated by the partner. The important condition was that if the sum is repeated and the number is already covered than that person has to pass the dice to his/her partner and he missed his/her chance.
The winner of the game was the person who covers maximum counters. Students were very excited and played the game confidently and independently. Even they demonstrated the social skills like cooperating and respecting others.
Multiplication using Array method (2 X 1)Ã‚Â was catered today in class where teacher modeled sums for the learners. Later learners were given a sum to solve using the same method.
A video related to different types of Lever was shown in class which the learners observed andÃ‚Â noted down the points in their UOI notebooks.
“Dialogues are delivered with specific feelings and actions” was dcatered in class where the learners were given few dialogues in pairs which they had to enact with appropriate actions. Later few dialogues were displayed in class where the learners had to share what according to them can be the actions of a speaker while delivering the same.
